Planned app information

A parent signs in with Apple or Google. Depending on the provider and the parent’s choices, account details may include a provider identifier and email address. A server-verified parent PIN and a one-time recovery code protect parent access. Children do not need an email address to use an approved device.

Parents create a household and may enter children’s nicknames, ages in years and built-in icons. The app stores household rules, scheduled responsibilities and completion or review states. It also keeps device permissions, parent membership and security records needed to operate the household.

How information is used and shared

The app uses this information to provide household schedules, manage access, secure accounts and devices, and support requests. A parent can approve a device for specific child profiles. Anyone using a shared approved device can see the profiles granted to it. Parents can invite another parent, who joins only after owner approval.

Supabase is planned for authentication and household storage. Apple and Google provide parent sign-in. App stores and RevenueCat are planned to support subscriptions. These services process information needed for their roles under their own terms. The final provider configuration and data locations are still being reviewed.

Children’s privacy

Dad’s Rulebook is designed for families with children aged 8 and up. Parents manage child profiles and device access. Kid Mode has no ads or behavioral analytics. Parental authorization and notices will be reviewed for the regions where the app is offered before real children’s data is collected.

Your choices and requests

The planned app includes parent controls to manage profiles and devices, export household data, and request account deletion. Deleting an app account does not cancel a store subscription. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions, email waadrarii@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request. Please do not send a child’s personal details, PIN, recovery code or sign-in credentials in your first message.

This website

This website has no signup form, analytics scripts or advertising, and we do not add optional tracking cookies. It serves its font locally. Hosting providers may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site.

We will update this notice as the app and its services are prepared for release.
